Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2013, from Zambia
We are happy to find this opportunity to share with the brothers of the province our Christmas joy.
As you witness it in the pictures attached to our webside, our staying here at St Bonaventure College is not only centered on studies,
but also it includes other activities such as manual works,
sports, liturgical activities in the our communty.
The celebration of the nativity of Christ started on the eve of 23rd with the Christmas Carols which was performed by the brothers of the three communities.
Then on Christmas our house assisted in the singing of the mass, it was wonderful!
We wish you all the joyous period of Christmas
and a prosperous New Year 2013.

KALENDA OF CHRISMAS 2012
After many centuries since the creation of the world, when in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and made man in his own image; and since many centuries after the flood, the Almighty had made the rainbow shine forth as a sign of alliance and peace;
Twenty centuries after the departure from Ur of the Chaldeans of Abraham, our father in faith;
Thirteen centuries after the departure of Israel from Egypt under the leadership of Moses; about a thousand years after the anointing of David as king of Israel;
In the sixty-fifth week according to the prophecy of Daniel; at the time of 194th Olympiad;
In the year 752 from the foundation of Rome;
In the forty-second year of the empire of Caesar Augustus;
When the world was peace, Jesus Christ, eternal God and Son of the eternal Father, desiring to sanctify the world by his coming, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit, after nine months, was born in Bethlehem of Judea of the Virgin Mary,
Birthplace of our Lord Jesus Christ according to human nature and became man

Christmas Letter of the Minister General
It is Christmas. The time has come to take off the robe of mourning and misery (cf. Bar 5, 1). “The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad indeed” (Ps 125, 3). Humanity has patiently awaited the precious yield of the soil (cf. James 5, 7), and finally “the grace of God has appeared, offering salvation to all” (Tit 2, 11). It is Christmas: God has come to stay with us: “Rejoice in the Lord always! I say it again. Rejoice!” (Phil 4, 4).Christmas reminds us that we are not alone, that God is with us on the journey through the world. This presence brings great joy (cf. Mt 28, 8-9). It is the foundation of the certain hope for those who accept the good news with true faith and who make it present in perfect charity (cf. PrCr).
